Attention Parents of Seniors Graduation is quickly approaching and there are a number of things that still need to be finalized. Make sure your child has completed senior intent survey and submitted a senior portrait and baby picture. Links to upload pictures can be found on the Galion High School website on the senior page. Any photos or information submitted after May 16th at 3:00 pm will not be included in Senior Celebration. Senior Celebration is an opportunity for graduates to share their post-graduation plans with the student body. It will take place May 17th at 7:45 am in the HS gym. Other important dates: May 16 Senior iPads & chargers will be collected. ($20 replacement fee) May 20 Senior Academic Awards & Scholarship Presentation 6:00 pm invitation only May 22 Bring Cap & Gown to Senior Breakfast 7:45 am - 11:00 (approx.) Galion students of all ages represented our district well at the MOESC Artapalooza 2024. This year over 3,000 pieces of art were on display from 20 area schools. Congratulations to all students whose pieces were on display and to our award winners. Best of Show - Ava Ball 12th grade Honorable Mention - Ava Stowers10th grade, Ashley Franks 10th grade Middle School Division 2nd Place - Alyssa Hunt 8th grade Outstanding Artist - Natalie Lewis 3rd grade, Abigail Shifley 5th grade, Audey Hetzel 5th grade Budding Artist: Blaine Franks 2nd grade, Makhielyn Swango 1st grade, Weston Goldsmith kindergarten If you missed Artapalooza this year, you still have an opportunity to see some great work from our high school students . On Sunday, May 5th, Galion High School will open at 3:30 P.M. for spectators to come and enjoy the high school art show. Concessions will be available with proceeds benefiting the freshman class and their future events. The high school art awards will begin at 4:00 P.M. and the show will remain open until 7:00 P.M.

Good afternoon we do apologize for the inconvenience however in effort to keep our students safe, based on impending weather conditions we will dismiss one hour early today. Morning preschool will dismiss as normal. There will be no afternoon preschool or any afternoon activities. Again, we have our student best interest in mind as we make this decision. Be safe and we will see everyone back on campus tomorrow.
