Mrs. Stuttler’s High School Accelerated English class was excited to receive their pen pal letters yesterday! This activity connects to the memoir they are currently reading, I Will Always Write Back, which tells the true story of two students—one from America and one from Zimbabwe—who became lifelong friends through a simple class assignment. Inspired by the book, GHS students are now exchanging letters with high school students in North Carolina, giving them the opportunity to build connections, share experiences, and see the impact of meaningful communication across distance.
