The Board of Education reached mutually beneficial contract agreements with both the Galion Education Association (GEA) and the Ohio Association of Public School Employees Local #370 during its regular meeting on May 17. Both negotiating teams for the district and the GEA (pictured) did a great job to reach a mutually beneficial agreement that will run through August 2025. We would like to thank our teachers, the GEA leadership team, the district leadership team, and all those who provided support and guidance through the Interest-Based Bargaining process. Thank you!!


The Board of Education accepted a donation of $1,600 from the Galion Boosters for the purchase of a Volleyball Serving Machine. Thank you to our Boosters for supporting our Tigers!

The end of a school year is always exciting because it gives us the opportunity to celebrate the many achievements of our graduating seniors, and this year is no exception! We would like to congratulate ALL the recipients (pictured) of the 2022 Davis Family Scholarship!

Congratulations to Ashley Dyer! Ashely won Best of Show at the Mid-Ohio Education Service Center's Artapalooza. This art show featured the artwork of students from 15 area schools with many pieces from our Galion students Honorable Mention awards went to Jack Hart, Lexi Rush, Brooke Kelly and Devon Smith. Congratulations to all.
