Art

We are proud to recognize several of our students for their outstanding accomplishments in the Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition, one of the most competitive high school art shows in Ohio. Each year, thousands of students from across the state submit artwork for consideration and are reviewed in both a regional and state setting.

We are excited to announce that five of our students were named regional winners and advanced as state qualifiers for this year’s competition

  • Ashley Franks – 3 works selected

  • Amyalin Salone – 2 works selected

  • Addi Teynor

  • Kai Benton

  • Bianca Davis

From this talented group of state qualifiers, two students received additional statewide recognition.

Sophomore Amyalin Salone had one of her paintings selected for the official statewide exhibition, an honor given to a small percentage of the works submitted.

Senior Ashley Franks had a mixed media sculpture selected for the Online Cameo Exhibition, a digital showcase highlighting exceptional artwork from students across Ohio.

Please congratulate these students on their hard work and creativity as they represent our school at one of the state’s most prestigious student art events.
